Setting Up your Web based Emails in Nokia e72

1. For your first email account, which the Nokia E72 Handphone will recognize as your primary email account, set your account from your Home Screen. Simply click the Set Up Email function and the wizard will guide you through the process. You can also set up your e-mail account by going to the Email application from your main menu. Click the New icon to start the email setting wizard.
   
2. Read the guide and click Start to begin.
   
3. Choose your email provider, whether it is Ovi Mail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, or Windows Live Hotmail. For other Web based email, choose the Other option.
   
4. Enter your email address and then your password at the pop up form.
   
5. Allow some time for Nokia e72 to detect your email settings.
   

Nokia e72 automatically chooses the best setting for your email account. But, if you want to manually change the setting for your email accounts, go the Settings menu in the Email folder from your main menu screen. Alternatively, you can go the Settings page from the Option button on your email account page. Click Mailbox settings to change the settings.

You can change your email address and the information for you account in your Mailbox settings. The Advanced Mailbox Setting options can also change the settings for your incoming and outgoing email. Do not change these settings if you do not completely understand what you are doing.

Choose the What to Sync option to change the setting of how Nokia e72 should retrieve your mails. Choose When to Sync to change the time when Nokia e72 will attempt synchronization with your mailbox.
